Become a global cybersecurity leader
This online cybersecurity concentration is embedded within the MA in Global Security. The program is practical, non-technical and designed to train students from diverse backgrounds prepare for a rapidly changing cyber environment. Students learn to understand complex domestic and global cybersecurity threats, opportunities, risks and policies.
Welcome to the School of Politics and Global Studies! We offer a variety of graduate degrees that can help you prepare for a career in virtually any field. We pride ourselves in being able to help prepare the leaders of tomorrow with the knowledge and experience they need to tackle complex issues head on. Our goal is to provide students with the skills they need to be effective citizens in not only our national political system, but in the global community as well. All of our degree programs seek to link theories with real world problems and issues.
Discuss international affairs and research complex global issues
Model United Nations at ASU is an organization in which students meet to discuss international affairs, research complex global issues, and simulate the United Nations. Each year, our program travels to San Francisco to participate in the Model United Nations Far West Conference. Additionally, each November SunMUN puts on a conference for high school students.
The Political Economy Working Group comprises an interdisciplinary team forged on common research interests related to state- and economy-building, international trade, global inequality, environmental policy and governance, and migration. A major aim of the working group is to push the frontier in methodological approaches to answering questions on these topics, such as quasi-experimental and experimental techniques, large-n ethnographic data, as well as big-data analysis to test leading hypotheses in the literature.
