Biography

James Strickland is an assistant professor in the School of Politics and Global Studies. His primary areas of research include interest groups, legislatures and U.S. state politics. In his research, Strickland focuses on the influence of legislative institutions and lobby regulations on the decisions of organized interest groups. Laws that regulate the conduct of hired lobbyists and political action committees are of particular interest.
